Fahrenheit 451 - Book by Ray Bradbury

Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian novel that presents a future American society where books are outlawed and "firemen" burn any that are found. The title refers to the temperature at which book paper supposedly catches fire and burns. The protagonist, Guy Montag, is one such fireman, but his journey leads him from mindless conformity to questioning the system, making the novel an exploration of censorship, intellectual freedom, and the dangers of an anti-intellectual society.
